Rams’ Quest For First Playoff Berth Since ’04 Drawing Ticket Sales

The St. Louis Rams have moved on from Sam Bradford, trading him to the Philadelphia Eagles for Nick Foles and draft picks. Foles is now Jeff Fisher’s starting quarterback, as the head coach heads into the fourth season of his tenure with the team.

Last season, the Rams went 6-10 but seemed to have found something in running back Tre Mason. Mason averaged 4.3 yards per rushing attempt during his 12 games played, finishing the season with 179 attempts for 765 yards and four touchdowns. Tavon Austin, Kenny Britt and Brian Quick round out the wide receiver corps that may best the best offense Fisher has had since he’s been in St. Louis.

But the anchor of the team is its defense and will return many of the players from last year’s ferocious pass-rushing attack. Chris Long, Aaron Donald, Robert Quinn, Nick Fairley, Eugene Sims and Michael Brockers create one of the most feared front-seven units in the NFL. Additionally, the acquisition of Mark Barron for the secondary could create some more turnovers when pressure is applied. The Edward Jones Dome is one of the league’s most electric atmospheres once the defense gets going.

There is excitement in St. Louis and it’s tangible. With information provided by ScoreBig, the most expensive and least expensive St. Louis Rams tickets are below.

Most Expensive: 12/27/2015 | Seattle Seahawks vs. St. Louis Rams | CenturyLink Field | Average Price: $411.16 | Get-in Price: $170

The Rams took the first meeting between the two teams in Week 7, winning 28-26 at the Edward Jones Dome in a wild affair. The Rams failed to complete the season sweep, however, with a Week 17 loss as CenturyLink, 20-6. The Rams will look for better results in their most expensive games of the year when they return to Seattle to battle these vaunted Seahawks, along with the 12th man.

Least Expensive: 10/4/2015 | Arizona Cardinals vs. St. Louis Rams | University of Phoenix Stadium | Average Price: $145.97 | Get-in Price: $35

The Cardinals were the NFC West surprise team last season, starting out 9-1 before finishing off at 11-5 and earning a playoff spot.
